The Arc-en-ciel hotel in traditional Chalet style is a hotel situated in a quiet location on the outskirts of Gstaad, next to the Eggli cable car station, close to the car-free centre. During the summer months the outdoor swimming pool is a great place to relax while your children have fun on the playground, in the games rooms, or on the electric car track. Guests can visit the inviting private spa area, with a sauna, a steam bath and a tub for 2-4 people, which should be booked on the day of use. The exclusive use of the spa area is possible for a surcharge. A fitness corner, massages and beauty treatments are available on request and subject to availability. one downside was the slightly outdated decor in the hallways. but the breakfast was fantastic, with fresh fruits and pastries, the staff really went the extra mile helping with our requests, and the outdoor pool was a relaxing treat after a long day.

We had a fantastic stay for 2 nights in a Comfort Double Room, enjoying the free ski equipment rental just outside and the soothing sounds of a water stream from our balcony. The private spa time was such a treat, and the breakfast spread was delicious with warm options and local cheeses. The only minor hiccup was that the reception closed a bit early, but it truly didn’t take away from our great experience! 😊

It was just a suitable option for an overnight stop in Gstaad with good price value. The food at the Pizzeria was delicious and totally exceeded my expectations. Make sure to explore the nearby river for some fresh air.
